Sometimes, it takes drastic events for the elites to spring into action.
Take the January 6th riot at the Capitol Building for example. All summer long, for months straight, we had racially charged riots, fires, lootings and beatings taking place in multiple cities, thanks to groups like Black Lives Matter and ANTIFA. Something the media dubbed "fiery, but mostly peaceful". But for the entire duration, rioting "wasn't a thing" to the elites. Some went as far to claim that rioting was the "language of the unheard", even going so far as to praise the rioters for their actions.
At least, that was the case until the aforementioned "unheard" showed up at the Capitol Building on January 6th of 2021. Then it became an "insurrection" by "far-right Trump supporters". Now I don't know how you even have an insurrection without bringing firearms, seeing as the only people who even had guns were the palace guard Capitol Police. The only person who got shot to death was a protestor at the event, Ashley Babbit. But at any rate, now rioting was suddenly a problem.
Which brings us to Martha's Vineyard (or as we Bay Staters say, "Mahtha's Vinyahd"), a left-wing playground of filthy rich, progressive elites who proudly display signs promoting illegal immigration, diversity and tolerance right in their front yards. "We support immigration!", they claimed. "We need more diversity!"
At least until a mere 50 of such "diverse" individuals were dropped off right in said front yard, courtesy of Florida Governor Ron DeSantis. Then suddenly it was "this is an outrage! We can't support them! Call the National Guard! Deport! Deport!" In under 48 hours, this diverse bunch was re-located to a military base in Cape Cod, Massachusetts.
To which I'm sure the migrants were saying "Oh no... not Cape Cod... anything but that."
I guess these yard signs can be taken down now, yes? Or at least cross out the yellow line.
No human is illegal... unless they're here.
To the point of this story, in both cases, despite months and years of these incidents, the elites simply do not care, until they themselves were directly threatened or had to face up to the consequences of their actions (or in this case, the lack of them). Only then do they spring into action. After claiming that "walls don't work" and that riots weren't really an issue, a barrier wall, complete with over 6,000 National Guard troops, was immediately erected around the Capitol Building to protect the elites from those "MAGA right-wing rioters", never mind that until that moment, riots from the right were practically unheard of.
Only until illegal aliens started being bussed and flown into their blue city safe havens, Martha's Vineyard being the latest, did their respective representatives begin to see illegal immigration as a problem. They can lambast the governors of Florida, Texas and Arizona for "playing politics with innocent lives" all they want (kinda like abortions, right? But that's another story), but they didn't have any problems with the Biden Administration doing the exact same thing to red states and cities. Typically in secret, under the cover of night.
Personally, I don't blame the residents of Martha's Vineyard for wanting to remove the illegal migrants. I get it. I've never visited it, but based on pictures and videos, it looks like a quiet, peaceful place filled with beautiful homes and scenery. It's understandable that they don't want a bunch of illegals being dumped off in their haven.
But here's the thing... the towns and cities on our nation's southern border don't like it either. The residents are no less deserving of having the same sense of peace and security as the double-standard elites in Martha's Vineyard, and they don't need anyone telling them that they should accomodate these unwelcome "guests". Especially when said elites don't need to sacrifice anything for their own cause.
Maybe what needs to happen is a mob of illegals to raid the Capitol Building.
